Company Profile:
Viksun
Carriers: Emphasising on door-to-door shipment and project cargo
Viksun Carriers was established in 1994 by Anil Khosla at a time when India
was going through major economic changes by adopting open door policy.
Today, Viksun has emerged as the specialist logistics company with a keen
understanding of the uniquely Indian operating conditions, infrastructure
bottlenecks, complex logistical challenges due to a diverse topography and
confounding documentation. The company is an ISO certified full service, one
stop logistics service provider.
Viksun Carriers succeeded, all thanks to the vision of Khosla. He had been
an integral part of the Indian logistics industry since 1979. His experience
of over three decades includes specialised training in cargo management as
well as practical experience. Since setting up Viksun Carriers, Khosla had
seen the company to grow from strength to strength with his hands-on
approach and keen vision. After Khosla’s demise on June 10, 2009, Vineet
Chadha and Sushant Khosla have shared responsibility as directors of the
company.
Chadha has also played an instrumental role in Viksun's growth since its
inception. He brings with him industry experience of 15 years and invaluable
insight that helps in quick decision making. On the other hand, Sushant
added fresh perspective of the logistics business.
Viksun offers a complete customised package of solutions. The company offers
various carriers and routing options, modes of transport and costing options
depending on the criticality of the cargo. This gives customers flexibility
of pricing, transport and transit time options all of which are necessary in
today’s competitive and dynamic trade scenario.
Viksun Carrier’s major
services include air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, sea-air
services, warehousing and distribution. Recently, Viksun Carriers opened its
office at ICD Dadri and it is moving ahead towards door to door shipments
and project cargo. The company also recently operated the logistics services for Formula cars
and other tournament related cargo.
