Company Profile:
Sun Aviation:
Offering one-stop solutions for chartering services
Sun Aviation Pvt. Ltd. (SAPL), which
holds a cargo charter operator permit from DGCA, India, was established by
aviation experts in 2006-07 and conceptualised keeping in mind the
day-to-day growing corporate demands for long distance air cargo operations
as well as logistics support. Sun Aviation Group is a leading company in the
country in providing end-to-end air cargo charter services in heavy lift
cargo operations, passenger charter operations, long-term aircraft
operations, flight operations and support services, ground support, multi
modal transport, warehousing and specialty air services.
Sun Aviation provides global heavy lift cargo solutions to cater to the
needs of its clients who have rather difficult and oversized freight. With
its mammoth-sized fleet of aircraft, like the IL-76 ‘Gajraj', the company
can lift cargo of any size, weight or dimension. The aircraft can be made
available at a short notice to meet the urgency of the client.
“We have to our credit the critical and delicate cargo handling successes in
the most difficult political and geographical areas such as Afghanistan,
Iraq, Somalia and Sudan,” said Ravi Nair, director, Sun Aviation.
In addition, keeping in mind the increasing demands for emergency medical
evacuations and corporate passenger operations to be carried out in an
economical manner, to and from very remote areas in North and central India,
SAPL management has decided to operate its own aircraft by acquiring NSOP
(passenger) permit. Meanwhile, world-class medical facilities located in
this region, have again accelerated EMS (emergency medical services) demands
in remote areas of these states, as well as from other neighbouring nations.
“Sun Aviation is destined to provide state-of-the-art charter services in a
very economic way for each and every situational requirement,” added Nair.
