Lambah & Sons. The company is IATA approved cargo agent since 1986.
RB Ram Nath Lambah & Sons is specialised in handling both air shipments and
customs clearance of containers for import and export. The company’s turnover
is around Rs 30 crore per annum.
Currently, RB Ram Nath Lambah & Sons is handling exports/imports of all
types of items including live stock, live poultry, second hand machinery,
garments, leather goods, baggage under transfer of residence (diplomatic and
non-diplomatic), engineering goods, pharmaceuticals , handicrafts etc.
“For quick movement of goods, we have tie-up with various transporters,
domestic/international airlines/shipping lines to cater to the last minute
carting of export goods. We book space for air consignments and containers
for sea consignments in advance for our clients under prior information,”
shared Dhawan.
The company has 2,000 sqft warehouse at central Delhi. In addition, it has
two canter trucks and trailers for movement of containers from port to the
warehouse of its clients and back to the port to uplift the cargo and send
the cargo to the concerned port.
At present, RB Ram Nath Lambah & Sons has a professional team of 37
employees in its Delhi office alone. The company has branches and affiliated
offices in three other cities in India.

ACAAI Convention 2010 to be held in Bengaluru from November 25-28
The 37th Annual Convention of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI)
will be held from November 25-28 at The Leela Palace Kempinski in Bengaluru.
The theme of the convention will be decided very soon, announced J Krishnan,
president, ACAAI.

Sanjeev Sikka elected
chairman, ACAAI-NR
The Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) northern region has
recently elected its new office-bearers. Sanjeev Sikka (Sikkas Kwick
Handling Service) has been elected as chairman, Capt S Kapoor (Astbhuj) as
honorary secretary and Satish Lakkaraju (AFL) as honorary treasurer. Sikka
informed that at present, the prime concern of the ACAAI-NR would be to
address the issues pertaining to availability of space with the airlines as
well as smooth cargo clearance at the IGI Airport, reasonable freight
charges, proper functioning of the Customs’ 1.5 system for EDI and a
rational timing of acceptance of cargo by the airport.
